Proprietary Condensed Forging inserts add strength in the hosel area, which allows for the use of softer S15C steel in the single-piece Iron body for unprecedented feel and control.
PureFrame iQ features a wider, thicker ridge of softer S15C steel forged directly behind the sweet spot of every ZXi7 Iron. AI-assisted simulation allowed engineers to optimally expand this ridge—stiffening the impact zone, reducing face deformation, and using less mass than the previous generation for higher MOI and an irresistibly soft, remarkably stable feel.
Srixon’s Tour V.T. Sole takes turf interaction to a whole new level of detail with a proprietary combination of sole widths, bounce angles, and notches. This technology encourages a smooth glide through fairway, rough, and sand without losing speed, even if you enter the turf slightly behind the ball.
The 3i–7i feature wider grooves, ideal for longer shots in all conditions. The 8i–AW have deeper, closer-set grooves which cut through grass and debris to enhance spin on approach shots. Laser milling between each groove, on every loft, enhances friction in all conditions.
Guided by Srixon’s tour staff, every new ZXi7 Iron has been refined for a cleaner, more exacting profile, featuring slightly thinner toplines than the previous generation.
Every new ZXi7 Iron face and body are forged at Japan’s premier forging house: Endo, the gold standard in iron forging. A place that refuses to compromise on feel.
A forged S15C steel body absorbs vibrations for an extremely soft feel, while a high-density tungsten weight in the toe of each long and mid iron helps keep speed and spin consistent on off-center strikes.
